The exhaust turbo charger arrangement (1) comprises an exhaust line (2), in which a turbine housing (3) of an exhaust turbo charger (4) is flown through with exhaust gas, and a turbine propelled by the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas is arranged in the exhaust line behind the turbine housing of an exhaust-gas recycling plant in the flow direction. A valve unit (7) is provided, with which the turbine housing is lockable in the flow direction of the exhaust gas behind the turbine. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating an exhaust turbo charger arrangement.
