PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent risk of fire due to approach and contact of combustible materials M such as paper, towel and clothes to an upper part of a guard.SOLUTION: In this portable heater including a flat plate-shaped porous ceramic burner having a plurality of air holes for jetting a fuel gas, and the guard disposed at a front side of the porous ceramic burner, the guard is constituted by integrating a plurality of vertical rods and a plurality of horizontal rods (transverse rods), and upward extended sections of the vertical rods are bent inward to form an upward inclined extension guide section. A hot air guide plate is mounted in a space HA between the porous ceramic burner and the guard, and an upper end section of the space HA. |
