PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technologies for displaying the image capturing a region described in comments in a diagnostic reading report on an examination image by specifying the range of the image and the position and range of the region.SOLUTION: The medical image reading system includes: an information extraction processing means for structuring a sentence described in the diagnostic reading report and extracting region information; an image region specifying means for specifying the range of the image capturing the region corresponding to the region information and the position and range of the region by using segmentation skills; and an image processing means for displaying the range of the image capturing the region and the position and range of the region on the examination image. The region information is extracted from the diagnostic reading report of the patient captured in the examination image, and the range of the image capturing the region represented in the region information and the position and range of the region are predetermined to be displayed on the examination image.
