PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat in which the slippage of a leg press member in the circumferential direction is controlled and which can therefore control the slippage of a movable hood to improve the quality.SOLUTION: The movable hood D is attached to a seat base 2, and a leg press member 8 for holding the tip leg portion of a reel is disposed in the movable hood D. A guide projected stripe 8B is formed on the leg press member 8, and the first guide groove 4a which engages with the guide projected stripe 8B and guides the leg press member 8 moved together with the movable hood D in the axial direction of the rod is formed in the seat base 2.
