The device processes voice data, it packs them and transmits them over the internet protocol (VOIP), providing integrated services of telephony and data transmission. The device integrates all the telephony services and voice data transmission operations in an integrated electronic circuit. The integrated circuit performs the processing and voice data compression operations and their conversion in data packets suitable for their transfer via the internet. The architecture of the integrated circuit is based on its separation in two processing sub-systems, the data transmission sub-system and the voice processing sub-system. The integrated circuit can apply to various devices and communication systems, such as in voice transmission telephone devices via the internet and in integrated systems of domestic portals. |
