PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end part processing method of a surface-mounting material and an end part processing material used for the method, capable of improving thermal insulation performance and waterproofness in an end part of the surface-mounting material, capable of holding strength, and capable of improving an appearance. SOLUTION: This surface-mounting material 14 is composed of a base board 11, an interposing sheet 12 stuck to its surface and a decorative material 13 suck to its surface. A surface side superposing margin part 17 overhanging from adjacent two edges of the decorative material 13 is formed on a surface on the adjacent two edge sides of the interposing sheet 12, and a reverse side superposing margin part 16 overhanging from adjacent two edges of the base board 11 is formed on a reverse surface of the other two edge sides of the interposing sheet 12. The reverse side superposing margin part 16 is placed and stuck on the surface side superposing margin part 17, and an outer wall surface of a building is covered by repetition. A base board unsupported part 27 based on the reverse side superposing margin part 16 of the end part of the surface-mounting material 14, is processed by fitting the end part processing material 23 having thermal insulation performance and waterproofness.
