<p>The injector (1) has a control valve element (26) adjustable between two switching positions. The valve element is formed and arranged such that no or reduced resulting hydraulic force is exerted in an axial direction on the valve element by pressure in a control chamber (17) when a hydraulic connection between the chamber and a low pressure region (10) is disconnected in one of the switching positions. The valve element sealingly lies at a guiding sleeve (32) in the other switching position for sealing a hydraulic connection between a control valve chamber (24) and a high pressure region (8).</p> |
