The module (1) has an image sensor (3) directly or indirectly mounted on a support installation (2). A lens support (5) is mounted in the support installation, and a lens (10) is placed in the support and fixed using UV-ray sensitive adhesive (12). The lens support has a zone transparent to UV rays, and a portion of the adhesive is provided at the level of the zone. The lens support is formed by injection of plastic material. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a camera module.
