PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical bag-making, filling, and packaging machine that prevents pin hole from being formed due to falling of stuff being packaged and prevents pin hole from being formed even where a support for relaxing impact applied by falling of stuff being packaged uses the same driving source as a lateral sealer.SOLUTION: The vertical bag-making, filling, and packaging machine 1 includes: a vertical cylindrical bag-making tube 2 inside which stuff to be packaged falls during the filling of the stuff; and a lateral sealer 4 for forming the bottom of a bag by horizontally sealing the cylindrical film f drawn along the periphery of the bag-making tube 2. The lateral sealer 4 has a pair of heater blocks 4a and 4b for sandwiching and thermocompression-bonding the film f. Disposed between the lateral sealer 4 and bag-making tube 2 is a pair of elastic supports 17 for relaxing impact on a bag 12 due to falling of stuff being packaged, by their being brought into contact with or separated from each other by the same driving source as the heater blocks 4a and 4b in conjunction with the opening/closing operation of the heater blocks 4a and 4b. |
