PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing lift-force vibration which is generated when a strong wind is made to blow to a low wind-noise overhead power transmission line from an oblique lateral direction.SOLUTION: In the low wind-noise overhead power transmission line 3 formed by winding a spiral rod 2 to an overhead transmission line 1, a reverse-winding spiral rod 4 reverse in spiral direction is wound to a winding zone of the spiral rod 2 with the same width as that of the spiral rod 2 and the same spiral pitch as that of the spiral rod. A cause for generating the lift-force vibration to the low wind-noise overhead power transmission line is due to an effect that a shape of the low wind-noise overhead power transmission line viewed from the side of windward at an oblique wind is asymmetric vertically. The vertical asymmetry of the shape of the low wind-noise overhead power transmission line viewed from the side of the windward at the lateral wind is offset, thereby the cause for generating the lift-force vibration is eliminated, and the lift-force vibration can be prevented. |
