PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of preventing a scratch on a printing paper to the minimum during separate printing, and capable of shortening the time required till print completion during continuous printing.SOLUTION: The MPU115 of a printing device using a roll printing paper and a thermal sublimation ink ribbon determines whether printing is continuation printing with a plurality of papers to be printed, or separate printing, and controls the printing by changing a standby position of the printing paper according to a determination result. |
