PURPOSE: A remote control device and a user interface providing method about the same are provided to supply effect such as manually operating a remote electronic device in real through a user interaction of an realistic image screen, thereby intuitionally controlling a remote device. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(140) displays a realistic image which an image capturing unit(130) obtained. A controller(110) recognizes a device, capable of remote control, from a realistic image. The controller overlaps control function information used to control the device and the realistic image. A communication unit(150) receives image information which photographed the device. The control unit compares image information of the device extracted from the realistic image and the image information and recognizes the device.
