PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical information providing system which shares medical image information through a network with many partners, without a complicated contract and a complicated investigation.SOLUTION: An SR1 individual 41 gives a demand to receive the medical image information which an SR1 hospital 11 holds using a consultation terminal to an agency terminal of a medical information agency center 100. The medical information agency center 100 negotiates for the SR1 individual 41 to receive the medical image information which the SR1 hospital 11 holds, through the network 1 using the agency terminal with the consultation terminal of the SR1 individual 41 and a transmission terminal of the SR1 hospital 11. The agency terminal of the medical information agency center 100 receives the medical image information from the transmission terminal of the SR1 hospital 11 through the network 1, and transmits it to the consultation terminal of the SR1 individual 41 through the network 1.
