PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a bolt when a bracket for a footrest is fixed to a vehicle body side with the bolt.SOLUTION: In the footrest structure for the motorcycle, a base end 1b of the footrest 1 is turnably and pivotally supported by the bracket 2 mounted to the vehicle body side. The bracket 2 is fixed to a rear arm bracket 17 with the two upper and lower bolts 3, and a hood 2f integrally formed so as to be continued to a support wall 2d on the upper side of the bracket 2 covers a part from the upper side of the bolt 3 positioned on a lower side to a front side. Thus, since the hood 2f is provided on the bracket 2, when the vehicle is fitted to a rut during traveling on a bad road and a vehicle body is inclined by cornering, the lower bolt 3 can be prevented from being contacted with a ground surface or the like, preventing damage and loosening of the bolt 3. |
