PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processor which automatically extracts a cerebral daughter aneurysm without relying upon a visual judgement of an examiner.SOLUTION: The medical image processor comprises a cerebral blood vessel extracting section for extracting a cerebral blood vessel region using image data of a subject, and a cerebral aneurysm extracting section for extracting candidates of cerebral aneurysm on the basis of the characteristics of the extracted cerebral blood vessel region. The medical image processor further includes a cerebral daughter aneurysm extracting section that calculates feature amounts of the candidates of cerebral aneurysm extracted by the cerebral aneurysm extracting section, carries out matching procedure whether the feature amounts match or mismatch with a cerebral daughter aneurysm determining amount, and determines the matched region as a candidate of cerebral daughter aneurysm. |
