<p>A method for label switched path interconnection and interworking establishes an end-to-end label switched path by interacting signaling messages between nodes, wherein, the signaling messages are Path messages or Resv messages. At the transmission end, the signaling message carries a signal type and the number of multiplexed components, and when a node transmits the Path message or the Resv message on a downstream traffic engineering link or on an upstream traffic engineering link, the node determines the format of the generalized label according to the signal type and/or the interface multiplexed structure of the link. At the reception end, the signaling message carries the signal type and the number of multiplexed components, and when a node receives a generalized label request, the node recognizes the format of the generalized label according to the signal type and the number of multiplexed components.</p> |
