DIGITAL WIRE FEEDER WITH COMMUNICATION CAPABILITY

PURPOSE: A digital wire feeder with communication capability is provided to improve arc stability by eliminating a feeding speed change even if a current change is occurred. CONSTITUTION: A digital wire feeder(100) with communication capability comprises a digital motor control board, a feeder control board, and a digital interface board. The digital motor control board controls a wire feeding motor using a PWM method and communicates with a welder using a digital communication method. The feeder control board sets feeding speed and welding voltage and has a display device. The display device displays actual welding current and welding voltage. The digital interface board interfaces the welder main board of the welder and the digital motor control board.
