PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comfortable ceiling embedded type air conditioner capable of preventing an indoor temperature from exceeding a set temperature.SOLUTION: The ceiling embedded type air conditioner includes a panel (not shown in drawing) having a blowout port (not shown in drawing) having a wind direction changing plate (not shown in drawing) around a suction port, an indoor suction temperature detecting means 16 for detecting a suction temperature, a remote controller 17 for setting a target temperature, and a compressor starting timer 18 for counting elapsed time after starting of operation. When the difference between the suction temperature and the temperature set by the remote controller 17 is equal to or more than the prescribed temperature difference in starting of heating operation, the compressor starting timer 18 is started and short circuit for guiding air from the blowout port to the suction port is generated, and when the compressor starting timer 18 counts the prescribed time, the air from the blowout port is guided to an outer peripheral direction. Thus, the temperature can rapidly reach the set temperature by short circuit even in starting of heating operation at the low outside air temperature, and the short circuit can be avoided by operation time, and abnormal load is not applied to a compressor 11. |
