PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television broadcasting receiver which provides an advertisement program for viewers positively, and to provide an advertisement program display method of the receiver.SOLUTION: A main storage device loads contract contents stored in an IC card 25 obtained from a broadcasting station of contract destination (contract station). In a standby mode, when contract advertisement reception time comes, a reception section 14 receives a certain type of contract advertisements sent from the contract station, an auxiliary storage device 22 stores them, and a second display device 19 reports that effect. When a television program is to be displayed at time other than the contract advertisement reception time, a window is started on a display screen of a first display device 18, and the contract advertisement stored in the auxiliary storage device 22 is displayed compulsorily. When the television program is to be displayed within the contract advertisement reception time, either of a first or second tuners 12 and 13 receives the contract advertisement, the window is started on the first display device 18 and the contract advertisement is displayed thereon in real time regardless of whether the program is broadcasted from the contract station or from other stations. |
