PURPOSE: A method for producing leather packing used for a coating pump is provided to improve properties such as oil resistance, chemical resistance and elastic force and to enable use as inner components of a pump. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing leather packing used for a coating pump comprises a pre-treatment process of natural leather manufactured through preparation, oiling and dying processes of crude leather; and a impregnation drying process and a curing process of a polysulfide polymer mixture. A tanning process uses 6~12 parts by weight of tanning agent based on 100.0 parts by weight of crude leather.
