PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle stop device which can prevent vehicle theft, unauthorized parking, unauthorized exit and the like in a simple structure, is excellent in durability, and can cope with any combinations of an FF vehicle, an FR vehicle, a four-wheel drive vehicle, advance parking, and back parking.SOLUTION: The vehicle stop device includes a vehicle stop body 1 having guide slopes 2 for a drive wheel on both sides thereof, two lockable rollers 3 disposed parallel to the vehicle lock body 1 between the guide slopes 2, and a lock means 4 for performing the locking and unlocking of the two rollers 3 at the same time. The drive wheel rides on between the two rollers 3. The lock means 4 comprises a pair of racks 5 respectively fixed to rotary shafts of the two rollers 3, a pair of pawls 6 respectively biting into the pair of racks 5, and a pawl protrusion/retraction mechanism 7 for protruding and retracting the pair of pawls 6 to and from the teeth of the pair of racks 5 at the same time. The teeth of the pair of racks 5 are formed in the opposite direction to each other so that the pawls 6 bite into the teeth when the racks 5 rotate inside. |
