PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a mounting structure of a translucent component for mounting the translucent component in a hole formed in a mounting panel; and electric equipment employing the same, wherein the translucent component is accurately mounted on the mounting panel by a simple work.SOLUTION: A through-hole 15 for a lens and a positioning rib 17 are formed in a front panel 3. Moreover, a body part 25, a projection 27 projectingly formed at this body part 25 and inserted into the through-hole 15 for the lens, and an engaging recess 29 provided at a position of the front panel 3 separated from a forming position of the projection 27 of the body part 25 and engaged with the column positioning rib 17 are provided in a lens component 5. Then, the projection 27 is inserted into the through-hole 15 for the lens, formed at the front panel 3, and is engaged with the positioning rib 17, thereby mounting the lens component 5 while being positioned in the front panel 3. |
