PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power monitoring system for performing protection characteristic tests of protective relays mounted onto a power receiving and distributing board without interrupting a main circuit.SOLUTION: The power monitoring system is monitored by a monitoring device 8 and receives and distributes power to a load 3. The power monitoring system is equipped with: a circuit breaker 2 inserted into a main circuit for supplying power to the load 3; the protective relay 6 for operating the circuit breaker 2 by energizing a trip coil 4 of the circuit breaker 2; and a control relay 7 that is operated by a command from the monitoring device 8 when testing the protection characteristics of the protective relay 6 and separates the trip coil 4 from the energization circuit of the protective relay 6. |
