PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which performs operation verification by using a communication device connected to a network when a network failure occurs, and also to provide a communication method, and a communication control program.SOLUTION: The communication device is connected to communication buses 2 and 3 through which a plurality of communication devices communicate with each other, and performs time-trigger communication. The communication device is equipped with: a data generation unit 21 which generates output data at an allocated timing; a failure signal generation unit 11 which is used for operation verification of the communication device connected to the communication buses 2 and 3 and generates a failure signal with which failure is generated on the communication buses 2 and 3 in a simulated manner; and output units 33 and 34 which output the failure signal generated by the failure signal generation unit 11 to the communication buses 2 and 3 when the operation verification is performed, and also output the data generated by the data generation unit 21 to the communication buses 2 and 3 when the operation verification is not performed. |
