A method for indicating channel configuration, a method and device for receiving data are disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention. Wherein a method for indicating channel configuration includes: generating configuration indication information of a second channel, wherein the second channel is a dedicated channel for users accepting Coordinated Multi Point Transmission and Reception (CoMP) services or users of the advanced Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, and the configuration indication information is used to indicate the configuration of the second channel in a time domain and/or frequency domain; dispatching the configuration indication information into a current sub frame; and transmitting the sub frame. In the embodiment of the present invention, the network side indicates the time-frequency configuration of a dedicated channel for users accepting CoMP services, and allows a receiving device to be informed of the time-frequency configuration of the dedicated channel, and thus advantageous for the receiving device accurately receiving data carried on the dedicated channel or other channels.
