PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Venetian blind which is easy in processing and forming, has excellent rigidity, heat resistance, and weatherability without giving bad influence on the environment, and to provide a method of manufacturing the Venetian blind.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the Venetian blind includes: (a) a process of producing modified PET having a melt strength of more than 500 Pa s; (b) a process of mixing 2-40 wt.% of a filler into the modified PET obtained in the process (a) while heating the filler at 200-350°C; (c) a process of charging the mixture of the process (b) into an extruder, extruding the mixture at a uniform velocity to be formed in a continuous long shape, which then is cooled; and (d) a cutting process. |
