Dispensing liquids. - A device for dispensing drinks comprises a transparent bell 10 carried by a pedestal 11 on a cabinet 1. An opening- 13, Fig. 8, in the pedestal 11 permits passage of the liquid into the bell 10, a drain opening 14 permitting return of the liquid from the bell 10 to a feed tank 3 through a flexible tube 16. A pump 7 drives the liquid to the bell 10 through a pipe 8, hose 18, coupling 19 and pips 20 which is preferably arranged centrally in the bell so that the liquid spurts up in a fountain. The pump 7 maintains constant circulation of the liquid. To dispense the liquid, a glass tube 25, which is slidably mounted for endwise movement in a fitting 28, is moved inwardly against a spring 31, Fig. 4, until the end of the tube 25 is positioned above the end of the tube 20, as shown in Fig. 3. |
