PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system to be capable of always stably forming a high grade gluing bookbinding output object even in use of a wide variety of mediums in a POD printing system.SOLUTION: The optimum amount of glue in gluing bookbinding processing is held as an attribute managed for each type of medium by a form brand function. The optimum glue amount correction value is referred after the type of the medium is discriminated in the practice of bookbinding job and the amount of the glue applied on the back part in the formation of gluing bookbinding output object is made controllable by the correction value. As a result, the amount of glue is kept to be the optimum value corresponding to the type of the medium used in the practice of the job. This allows to form the high grade gluing bookbinding output object even when use of any type of medium is indicated in the job setting.
