PURPOSE: A portable access point and a networking method thereof are provided to connect an AP device to a network or a host computer, thereby enabling the free use of the AP device. CONSTITUTION: A portable AP(Access Point) device(100) includes a wireless communication unit, a storage unit, and a control unit. The wireless communication unit wirelessly communicates with wireless devices. The storage unit stores a file. The control unit supports networking for the wireless devices connected to the wireless communication unit. The control unit transmits a file stored in the storage unit to at least one wireless device through the wireless communication unit.
