The invention relates to the wind-power engineering, namely to turbine windmills with vertical axis of rotation, and can be used in wind-driven electric plants for various purposes. The windmill turbine with vertical axis of rotation contains a vertical axis (1), around which are uniformly fixed blades (2) by means of elements (3). On the outer perimeter of the turbine are placed horizontal elements (4) in the form of a metal tape, fastly connected to the blades (2), as well as are uniformly placed vertical elements (5) in the form of a metal tape, fastly connected to the horizontal elements (4), the number of which is multiple of the number of blades (2). The result consists in the uniform placement of vertical elements on the outer perimeter of the turbine, their number, multiple of the number of turbine blades, extending the application field.
