PURPOSE: A low noise type blower is provided to prevent the infiltration of foreign materials and improve noise reduction effects through indirect intake of air. CONSTITUTION: A low noise type blower comprises a cylindrical outer pipe(4), a perforated inner pipe(8), a space(9), a sound-absorbing material(10), a motor(14), and a perforated casing(20). The perforated inner pipe is installed inside the outer pipe and has a plurality of holes(6) to reduce noise. The space is formed between the outer pipe and the perforated inner pipe. The sound-absorbing material is filled in the space. The motor is fixed with a bracket(16) in the middle of the perforated inner pipe and fitted with a fan(12). The perforated casing is installed in the inlet and outlet of the perforated inner pipe, has a plurality of holes(18), and is filled with a sound-absorbing material(24) to reduce noise. A cover(26) is fixed with a connection bar(28) to form an air passage in the inlet of the outer pipe and a mesh pipe(30) is installed in the air passage. The cover comprises an outer plate(32), a hemispherical perforated inner plate(36) installed inside the outer plate, and a sound-absorbing material(38) filled between the outer and inner plates.
