PURPOSE: An image message service system and an image message service method are provided to filter a harmful image about image messages transmitted to a receiver, thereby preventing harmful image message from being transmitted to the receiver. CONSTITUTION: An originating terminal(10) requests transmission of a fixed image message to a receiving terminal(20). If transmission of an image message to the receiving terminal is requested from the originating terminal, an image message service server(100) analyzes an image of the requested image message. The image message service server determines whether the image message is a harmful image by the analyzed result. If the image message is the harmful image message, the image message service server temporarily stops the transmission of the image message to the receiving terminal. |
