PURPOSE: A shock absorbing reinforcement for a guardrail is provided to reduce shock force created during a vehicle collision and facilitate maintenance, repair, and replacement. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing reinforcement(100) for a guardrail comprises a shock absorber(110), a depression portion(120), and connection portions(130a,130b). The shock absorber is projected at a constant height to absorb shock force during a vehicle collision. The depression portion connects the lower parts of the multiple shock absorbers. The connection portions are folded and overlapped with each other.
