PURPOSE: A host device and a method for controlling peripheral devices of the host device, and an image forming device controlled by the same are provided to register various peripheral devices searched when one driver program is executed by each function of peripheral devices. CONSTITUTION: A host interface unit(130) receives peripheral device setup information corresponding to a peripheral device. A display unit(140) displays a setup information list of the peripheral device using the received setup information. The first universal driver unit(112) controls at least one image forming apparatus among peripheral devices. The second universal driver unit(113) controls at least one image reading apparatus among peripheral devices. The third universal driver unit(114) controls at least one image transceiving apparatus among peripheral devices.
