<p>The present invention discloses a method for enabling wireless signal indoor coverage. Base stations of multiple indoor cells neighboring or adjacent geographically, transmit the pseudorandom noise (PN) signals with the same pilot PNs in the forward pilot channels; when moving through each of the indoor cells, a mobile station (MS), according to the strength of the received PN signals from different paths, processes pilot active set. Meanwhile, the present invention also discloses a system for enabling wireless signal indoor coverage. By applying the resolution of the present invention, the MS is enabled to receive the same PN signals from different paths all the time when the MS moves through the cells with the same PNs, and the handover of the MS will not be triggered, and therefore the system instability is improved effectively resulting from dropped calls during handover.</p> |
