<p>Provided are a method for synchronizing the clock of a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) and a network thereof. The method includes: in the network consisting of the combination of multiple BTSs which include one master BTS (112) and at least one slave BTS (111), after obtaining a GPS signal via a Global Positioning System (GPS) antenna (101) configured in the master BTS (112), the master BTS (112) transforms the GPS signal into a synchronization clock signal of the master BTS (112), and transmits the synchronization clock signal of the master BTS (112) to the slave BTS (111); after receiving the synchronization clock signal of the master BTS (112), the slave BTS (111) implements the local clock synchronization of the slave BTS (111), thereby implementing the clock concatenation synchronization of BTSs in multi-sectors. The network includes multiple combining BTSs and at least one GPS antenna (101), the multiple combined BTSs include one master BTS (112) and at least one slave BTS (111); wherein, only the master BTS (112) is configured with the GPS antenna (101). With the present invention, the GPS-related equipments (including the GPS antenna (101) and the GPS receiver (102)) required by the slave BTS (111) can be omitted, thereby saving a large amount of engineering cost and material cost.</p> |
