<p>PURPOSE: A nest type torsional damper for an electric machine is provided to reduce the whole length of a generator facility of a driving system, thereby more simplifying it. CONSTITUTION: A nest type torsional damper for an electric machine includes a shaft(20), a shaft segment(26), and a shaft slot(38). The shaft segment has a circulation type around the shaft. The shaft segment is automatically connected to the shaft. The shaft slot increases the torsional compliance of the shaft segment. The shaft slot extends through the wall(40) of the shaft segment. The shaft slot is materially extended to longitudinal direction according to the shaft segment. The shaft segment is connected to the shaft through an end segment.</p> |
