PURPOSE: A battery pack is provided to miniaturize the size of a battery pack by positioning internal units densely, to reduce the size of internal units, and to increase capacitance density of a battery pack. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack(10) comprises a bare cell(100) including a cap plate and an electrode terminal positioned in the center of the cap plate, an insulating layer(200) which is located on the cap plate and includes a first terminal hole(200a) formed at a region corresponding to the electrode terminal, and a protection circuit module(400) which is located on the insulating layer and includes a protection circuit board containing a second terminal hole.
