LIGHT SOURCE UNIT AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A light source unit and a display device including the same are provided to protect a driving integrated circuit by detouring an overvoltage inputted from the outside through a resister. CONSTITUTION: Light source(210) is composed of a plurality of light generating blocks(LB1 to LBn) which is in parallel connection. A light source driving part(220) drives the light source. A connector(250) connects the light source and the light source driving part. The light source driving part includes a driving integrated circuit(223) and a direct current/direct current converter(235). The driving integrated circuit controls the drive of the light generating blocks.
