<p>A Policy and Charging Control (PCC) architecture based charging method is provided. The method comprises that: an interface is set between Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) and Online Charging System (OCS), the Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF) transmits information related to charging to the OCS through the interface, and receives response of the OCS; the OCS active transmits information related to charging to the PCRF through the interface, and receives response of the PCRF; or an interface of information interaction is set between the PCRF and Offline Charging System (OFCS), the PCRF transmits information related to charging to the OFCS through the interface. Furthermore, a system implementing the foregoing method is provided, it can provide charging operation of various granular for the user equipment of various gateway, and support various PCC architecture and improved architecture thereof.</p> |
