Disclosed is a wireless communication device provided with: a storing unit for storing recording medium identification information used for identifying a removable recording medium; a network communication unit connected to a communication network; a reading unit for reading the recording medium identification information from the storage medium; a recording medium identification information registering unit for writing the recording medium identification information that was read by the reading unit to the storing unit; a wireless communication unit for performing wireless communication with a communication terminal provided with the recording medium and for receiving the recording medium identification information from said communication terminal; and a communication control unit for connecting the communication terminal with the core network of a carrier, which is connected to a communication network, via the wireless communication unit or the network communication unit depending on the result after cross-checking the recording medium identification information that was read from the storing unit and the recording medium identification information that was received by the wireless communication unit.
