[Class 132 (ii).] A golf-practising appliance comprises three connected arms, the first arm 1 supporting a tee 2 for the ball and being pivoted to one end of the second arm 3, while the third arm 4 extends upwardly from the opposite end of the second arm and presents a surface which the player must avoid in swinging his club. The arms are formed of rubber or other soft material to prevent damage to the club and are anchored to the ground by spikes 5, 6. The central arm 3 may be provided with a series of spaced holes to enable the position of the upright arm to be varied relatively to the tee.</p> |
