Method for providing a node ID in a peer-to-peer network

The method involves making a node-identifier derivation of a registered client (2-8) by a certificate through a predetermined conductance function, and electing the certificate from an authentication-token e.g. plagiarism protection token or radio-frequency identifier token, over a serial interface of the registered client. The conductance function is formed by a Hash-function. The node-identifier of the registered client is verified as effective node-identifier, and other clients (2-1, 2-2) are provided in a Peer-to-Peer-network (1). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a Peer-to-Peer-network comprising an authentication-token (2) a data carrier comprising a computer program that includes a set of instructions to perform a method for preparing effective node-identification for registered clients through a Peer-to-Peer-network.
