The stator has a magnetic material disk including magnetic material elements (2) arranged in an annular way around an axis of the stator. An integration unit is integrated between the magnetic material elements. Complementary portions have a bar shaped element and a shoulder (15) and are provided in the magnetic material elements for forming contact surfaces that are arranged in a transverse way to magnetic field lines that are created in a disk during operation of an electric generator. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a stator comprising magnetic material elements.
