PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent degradation in optical performance, and to improve the beauty of appearance. SOLUTION: An optical device is equipped with: a lens barrel 301 formed of a resin material that absorbs a laser beam; a pressing ring 102 formed of a resin material that has compatibility with the material which absorbs a laser beam and with which the lens barrel 301 is formed, disposed in contact with the peripheral face of the lens barrel 301, and having a contact portion 407 fixed to the lens barrel 301 by laser welding; the contact portion 407 integrally provided with the pressing ring 102, having an approximate ring shape projecting from the internal circumferential surface of the pressing ring 102 so as to be in contact with the peripheral surface of the lens barrel 301, and fixed to the lens barrel 301 by laser welding; a bending portion 103 integrally provided with the pressing ring 102 and covering the position of a boundary between the lens barrel 301 and the contact portion 407 from one end side in the direction of the shaft center of the lens barrel 301 and pressing ring 102; and a linear recess hole portion 104 provided in the bending portion 103, and communicatively connecting a welding portion 408, for laser welding the lens barrel 301 and contact portion 407, with the outside.
