PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable braking action by returning a pad to a proper position in a pad returning mechanism and a disc brake device. SOLUTION: A support plate 52 is provided as a load transmission means capable of transmitting a predetermined pressing load input from a piston 15 to an inner pad 12, and a stroke absorber 54 is provided as a stroke absorbing means for absorbing stroke transmitted to the inner pad 12 by the support plate 52.
