<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil or fat composition causing low body fat accumulation and having good cooking properties and low-temperature stability, and a method for producing the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The oil or fat composition is produced by compounding an emulsifier to an oil or fat composition obtained by a transesterification reaction of a rapeseed oil with a mixed acid group triglyceride composed of an 8-10C saturated fatty acid, wherein a ratio of a middle-chain fatty acid in all fatty acids constituting the oil or fat composition is 5-23 mass%; the ratio of a triglyceride containing two middle-chain fatty acid residues in a molecule in all triglycerides is 3-20 mass%; the ratio of a triglyceride containing three middle-chain fatty acid residues in the molecule in all triglycerides constituting the oil or fat composition is ≤2 mass%; and the ratio of a long-chain saturated fatty acid in all long-chain fatty acids constituting the oil or fat composition is ≤20 mass%.
