PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device, wherein a connection terminal of a power semiconductor element and a connection part of a wiring member can be reliably joined together without any fusion defect in such a case; and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The connection terminal 5 and a metal bus bar 7 are put one over the other with their tip parts 5a and 7a in the same direction, and jointed together by fusing their base materials together near their tip parts 5a and 7a. The tip part 7a of the metal bus bar 7 includes a sectional curved-line part 11 such that a portion of an outline of a sectional shape perpendicular to a welding overlap surface 10 forms a curved line, and the sectional curved-line part 11 is arranged on a surface (opposite-side surface) different from the welding overlap surface 10 to join the connection terminal 5 and the metal bus bar 7 together, so stable fusion and joining are carried out without any gap at a tip part of the welding overlap surface 10 and fusion defects are thereby prevented to reliably join them together.
