PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DA converter capable of reducing a layout area by improving conversion accuracy. SOLUTION: A DA converter has a first resistor group R* and a second resistor group RH* across which a reference voltage is applied, a first switch group SW* that outputs a voltage defined by a node selected according to a binary digit of a first area of an input digital value among nodes N* in the first resistor group into the second resistor group, and a second switch group SWH* that outputs a voltage defined by a node selected according to a binary digit of a second area of an input digital value among the nodes NH* in the second resistor group. A sheet resistance of the second resistor group is higher than that of the first resistor group. When any of nodes between resistors in the second resistor group is selected, at least two nodes in the first resistor group are selected.
