PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray gun for electrostatic coating which is made small-sized and lightweight, has improved deposition efficiency of a coating material with a compact structure and is capable of keeping the improved deposition efficiency without deteriorating the improved deposition efficiency. SOLUTION: The spray gun 1 for electrostatic coating is structured so that an earth ring 47 arranged in the vicinity of a pin electrode 8 with a certain interval from the pin electrode 8 and having conductivity is grounded through a conductive grounding passage forming member 48 and a grounded grip 3 having conductivity. The earth ring 47 is arranged within 10 mm in front and back direction on the basis of a position 20 mm from the front end part of the coating material discharge port 29 to backward direction as a reference.
